Discover how Best Generation Charity Organization (BGCO) is transforming lives through education, compassion, and community-driven development.
The foundation of this organization was built on the vision of Samson Emanuel, who sought to provide quality early childhood education to children from low-income families.
At the heart of this initiative was the understanding that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. The early years of a child's life are crucial for development, and we wanted to give children in our community the opportunity to grow, learn, and prepare for a brighter future.
Recognizing the importance of learning English, we understood that many children from disadvantaged backgrounds lacked access to this essential skill. English is mandatory in secondary school, and without early exposure, these children would be at a significant disadvantage.
Our goal was clear: Give every child the opportunity to start their learning journey early, provide them with the skills they need for success, and help their families by allowing them to focus on their economic activities without worrying about their children's education and well-being.
Over the years, BGCO has made a significant impact on children and families in our community.
We have provided a safe, nurturing and educational environment for over 400 children, allowing their families to engage in economic activities while their children are cared for and educated.
We are proud to have supported 13 children through private school sponsorships program, helping them to start class one in English medium primary school to secondary school. Currently the oldest children in our sponsorship program are now in Form Three at secondary school.
During ten (10) years, we are proud to have built three classrooms (Baby Class, Middle Class, and Upper Class), kitchen, office and well-equipped playground and learning materials that enhance the children's experience.
Over the years, we have built a strong, supportive relationship with our community. The trust and collaboration we've fostered with local families and stakeholders have played an integral role in our success.
